Fight Gone Bad 5: Fundraising for the Wounded Warriors and LIVESTRONG foundation.
Aside from photography, I am also passionate about this thing called "crossfit" (feel free to you tube or google it), last September 25, 2010, I participated in this nationwide fundraising event called FIGHT GONE BAD to benefit the WOUNDED WARRIORS and LIVESTRONG cancer foundation. Now on its 5th year, it aims to bring awareness and give support to our troops and other people in their fight against cancer or help them in their recovery. This video by Mark Galvin, also from VALLEY CROSSFIT, was shot on that day inside our new facility in Van Nuys. It gives you an idea on what this event is all about. They say, "Find a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life..." very true!!..and this became more evident shooting this couple... time flies "working with Abby and James"...it was so easy and the best part was, we all had a great time!! We are not saying this because they took us for a wonderful dinner at Yang Chow Restaurant in Chinatown and forced us to try the "slippery shrimp" and we are glad that we did....!!! yummmm !! We love the shrimp..and our job!! Thank you!

2010 Macy's Passport Glamorama - Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles, CA
Thursday Night... Do you know where Mark is?..
Here at Apple and Cheese, we treat our Brides and Grooms as celebrities..., we make sure that we cater to their needs and most important of all is to assure them that we provide them with the A plus plus!! service..one that fits royalty.. Every Bride is a princess or a model in her own way and every aisle or stage is a runway, so where do we improve and pratice our skills? where else but in the center of Hollywood!!.... Mark was very fortunate to be part of this prestigious event, the 2010 Macy's Passport Glamorama held at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. And since it is in Hollywood, it is not surprising to see the stars lining up for this event. Music performance, Haute couture fashion show and of course the after party!..(but he did not attend the last part, we still have a wedding to attend to this weekend) anyways, to share you the highlights from last night.. here are the images taken by Mark Cano of Apple and cheese...

IT IS ON!! Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito
Early Tuesday morning at the Beverly Hills Hotel, CA, nope there is no wedding here but rather, it is the first stop press tour for the much awaited fight of Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito. For those who still does not know, I am fortunate and thankful enough to be one of the boxing champ's official photographer. As expected, members of the media and boxing fans gathered at the luxurious hotel in tinseltown. Here are some of the highlights from that event including actor/tv host Rossi Morreale ( ABC's host of Dating in the Dark)
This one week press tour will continue in New York City and ends at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium. This epic fight will be held on November 13, 2010 at the billion dollar Dallas Cowboy Stadium.
